Why JJT Consulting
You don't need a firm. You need the right person.
Large consulting firms send a team. I come myself — and that distinction matters more than most manufacturers realise until they've experienced both.
The problem with large firms.
When you hire a large consulting firm, you're hiring a brand. The senior partner who sold you the engagement hands it off to a junior associate two weeks in. That associate follows a template, checks the boxes, and moves on to the next client. The partner shows up for the final presentation.
That model works fine for some things. Pharmaceutical production compliance and operational efficiency are not among them. The problems I'm brought in to solve are specific to your facility, your equipment, your team, and your regulatory history. A template doesn't fix them.
The difference
What sets this engagement apart.
You work with me — not a team I manage.
Every site visit, every document review, every conversation with your production team happens with me directly. There's no account manager in the middle, no junior staff interpreting my recommendations. What I tell you in the first meeting is what gets implemented.
I've done this work — not just advised on it.
My background is in pharmaceutical production, not consulting. I've managed Health Canada GMP inspections, FDA audits, and NSF/ISO assessments from the inside. I've hit OPEX targets, installed and qualified equipment, and run production lines under regulatory scrutiny. I know what the pressure feels like because I've been under it.
My incentives are aligned with yours.
A large firm bills by the hour and by the headcount. Longer engagements and larger teams mean more revenue for them. I work on defined scopes with clear deliverables. My reputation depends on the quality of the outcome — not the size of the invoice.
I move faster.
No internal approvals, no resource scheduling, no handoffs between departments. When something needs to happen quickly — a pre-audit gap assessment, an urgent submission, an equipment qualification under a tight timeline — I can respond in days, not weeks.
I leave your team stronger.
My goal isn't to make you dependent on a retainer. Every engagement includes knowledge transfer — documented procedures, trained staff, and systems your team can operate and maintain independently. When I leave, the improvement stays.
Confidentiality is simpler.
Fewer people means fewer points of exposure. Your production data, regulatory history, and operational challenges stay between us — not distributed across a firm's project management system and a rotating cast of staff.
"I take on a limited number of engagements at a time — deliberately. Every client I work with gets my full attention, not a fraction of it."
